STUDENT NEWS:

  • Congratulations to today’s trivia winner, Mackenzie Kramer!  Otoe County is the only county in Nebraska that starts with the letter “O”.  Come to the office during lunch to collect your prize. Today’s trivia:  What was the University of Nebraska’s nickname before the “Cornhuskers”?
  • Attention any 6th through 8th grade boys who will be attending East high school and would like to play basketball.  East is hosting a Midnight Madness overnight basketball event on Friday, Oct. 26th.  If you are interested, pick up a flyer in the main office.
  • There is 8th grade volleyball practice today after school.
  • We need more help with recycling!  If you would like to help, please report to C24, Mrs. Barry’s room, on Wednesdays.
  • The class of 2017 has moved ahead in the Great Clean Cafeteria Challenge.  Class of 2019, are you going to let them beat you?  Only three days left!

STUDENT NEWS:

  • Congratulations to today’s trivia winner, Hyette Rustermier!   The White House street address is 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.  Come to the office during lunch to collect your prize. Today’s trivia:  What is the most recognizable feature of a hedgehog’s appearance?
  • The Sleep Challenge is winding down!  Congratulations to all who participated.  All students who met their sleep goal for all 7 nights will be entered into a drawing for a special prize.  Stay tuned for winners next week.

  • There were NO WINNERS for yesterday’s clean cafeteria contest.  Yikes, what a mess.  Let’s get it cleaned up folks.  There are six more days in the contest and anyone could still win.  Right now the class of 2019 is ahead.  Are the classes of 2017 and 2018 up for the challenge of winning popcorn for your entire grade level at the next Pride class?
