  • Congratulations to today’s trivia winner Brayden Maggart.  James Madison was the shortest U.S. President.  Come to the office during lunch to collect your prize. Today’s trivia question: What is the highest point in North America?
  • 8th graders,  High School Choice Forms are due this coming Monday, February 4th.  Turn your form into the counseling office if you are planning on attending a high school outside of your area.
  • Congratulations to the cast and crew of Kokonut Island.  You did a fantastic job!

  • No one answered the trivia question correctly.  Joe Namath is the NFL quarterback.  Today’s trivia question: What U.S. President was the shortest, standing only 5 feet 4 inches tall?  He also weighed less than 100 pounds.
  • Missing that favorite hoodie?  Did you lose one of your pair of gloves?  Check the Lost & Found in the front office, we may just have it.  You may come before/after school or during lunch to look for any lost or missing items.

Louisiana’s State Capitol building, located in Baton Rouge, is the tallest state capitol building in the USA. Today’s trivia question: The Three Stooges were well-known comedians who still appear on some TV stations.  You probably know them best as Moe, Larry and Curly.  But before Curly, they were Moe, Larry and who?
  • If you are an 8th grader who is planning to attend a high school outside of your area, you will need to turn in your High School Choice Form by February 4th.  See Mrs. Dowding in the counseling office if you have any questions.
