Student Council will meet this Wednesday morning at 7:15 a.m. in the media center. Elections will take place at this meeting, so please plan on attending if you are running for an office or want to vote.


Lion’s Den will be open to all three grades on Thursday, November 30 after school until 3:15 p.m.


This is the last week to order any Lefler clothing items from the online store. Please pick up an informational sheet in the main office if you are interested in ordering. All orders must be placed online and paid for by Sunday at midnight.


Last week to help your grade win Penny Wars! 3rd place = 8th grade (969 points); 2nd place = 6th grade (4,851 points); 1st Place = 7th grade (13,909 points). Students and staff who have donated have helped raise over $320! Can we hit $400 by the end of the week? Keep bringing in your donations now through Thursday to help us reach this goal!

Students and staff who have donated have helped raise $261.13, surpassing our goal of $250. Keep bringing in your donations now through Thursday, November 30 to see if we can meet or exceed $300!

Congratulations to the Girls basketball C-team for their victory against Pound last Saturday. Our A-team lost by ONE point in a VERY close match.

The Lefler online clothing store has reopened! The store offers a variety of shirts, hoodies, jackets, and more with three different design options. If you or a parent/guardian are interested in placing an order, swing by the main office to pick up a flyer. All orders must be placed and paid for online by December 4.

Here is the first Penny Wars update: Currently, 6th and 7th grade are tied for second place with 79 points, and 8th grade is in first place with 107 points. A total of $4.05 in donations have been brought in. Continue to bring in your donations at lunch time through November 21 to help your grade win and have teachers like Mr. Olson, Ms. Vandarwarka, and Ms. Fanta compete in Minute to Win It games with the possibility of getting pied in the face!

Penny Wars are back! Starting today through November 21 during lunch, donate pennies and dollar bills in your grade’s jar to help your grade earn points. Put nickels, dimes, and quarters in the other grades’ jars so they lose points. All money raised will be donated to a local animal charity with a goal of $250. The grade with the most positive points at the end of the competition will get to see their teachers compete in Minute to Win It games and possibly get pied in the face.

Tomorrow, across the United States, Veterans Day is celebrated. Veterans Day pays tribute to all American veterans–living or dead–but especially gives thanks to living veterans who served their country honorably during war or peacetime.
