Lion’s Den will be closed today during 7th period for LPS bus riders. It will reopen on October 20. Also, Lion’s Den will be closed next Tuesday for 6th graders due to Fall Break and will reopen for this grade on October 24.

7th and 8th grade girls basketball sign-up is right outside the girls PE office, which will start October 18.

Soccer and volleyball players, please turn in your shinguards or kneepads to Mr. Wenzl in room 209, or the office with your name attached to avoid paying a replacement fee.

Wrestling will be available for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys and girls starting the week of October 9. Sign-up right outside the boys PE office. Wrestling practice will have practices on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3-4:30 pm starting next Monday Oct 9

Congratulations to both the 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams for defeating Park in 2 sets of the first round. Unfortunately both team lost to Moore in the second round.

Lion’s Den will be open for 7th grade and 8th grade today from 3:00-3:15 p.m. Any 7th or 8th grader assigned to Team Time or Achievement Zone today must report there rather than shopping at the Lion’s Den. Also, LPS bus riders who want to shop at the Lion’s Den during 7th period on Friday need to ask Mrs. Grunder for a pass today at lunch.

As a reminder, only parents/family of participating students are allowed to attend Wednesdays games since the event is taking place at a middle school facility. Students should not plan on attending and will be asked to ride for a ride and wait outside of the gym. Saturday will be open to all spectators due to being at Standing Bear High School, but there will be an admission fee and required parental supervision that is yet to be determined. The Tournament Brackets are posted on the Lefler Athletic Page, and the LPS website for Middle School Athletic Schedules.
