STUDENT NEWS:
- Today and Friday, auditions for the 6th grade and 7/8 select choir will be held. 6th Grade choir will be held on Monday mornings and 7/8 choir will be held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 7:15 – 7:50 am. You must have parent permission in order to audition. Permission forms are available from Mrs. Oltman and in the front office. See Mrs. Oltman if you have any questions.
- Fall sports sign-up sheets are in the gym for Girls Volleyball, Boys and Girls Soccer, and Boys and Girls Cross-Country. Competition is for only 7th and 8th grade students, but 6th graders may practice with our cross-country team. Practice will start for Volleyball and Soccer next Monday, August 26, and Cross-Country will start next Wednesday, August 28. Schedules and Contracts will be handed out at the first practice. Please see Mr. Wenzl or Mr. Pappas if you have any questions.
- At the beginning of the school year LPS provides written information supplied by the Department of Health and Human Services to every student describing the availability of children’s health services provided under the medical assistance program. If you would like this health insurance information to give to your parent/guardian, please feel free to stop by the front office.
- The Lincoln Lighthouse After School Program is having their “Back to School Bash” next Friday, August 30th from 5:30-7:30pm. Eat some great food at the cookout, dunk the Lighthouse staff in the Dunk Tank, and enjoy Kona Shaved Ice! It is open to all middle and high school students (6th – 12th grade).
