Today is National Cocoa Day! The health benefits of drinking hot cocoa abound. Cocoa contains significant amounts of antioxidants that may help prevent cancer. They have also shown that the cocoa bean helps with digestion. The flavonoids found in cocoa also have a positive effect on arterial health. What better way to warm up after a cold day outside?
This is the last week to purchase Candy Cane Grams at lunch! Cost is 25 cents each or four for $1.00.
The last Lion’s Den for first semester will be after school this Thursday until 3;15 p.m. It will be open to all three grades, and some items will have ticket prices reduced! Be sure to stop by!
8th Graders – don’t forget about those baby photos! You have until Winter break to bring them to Ms. Vandarwarka in room 208.
If you need hats, coats, gloves, or food bags, come to the counseling center and we’ll get you what you need!
