Students, this week we will be completing the 3rd and final District Wellness Challenge for the school year. Each grade is competing for the most bingos during this week to earn extra recess time. 6th Grade won the first round, 7th grade won the 2nd round and we will see who takes the 3rd round… 8th grade we’re looking at you… Your homeroom teacher has all the information.
Congratulations to Mrs. Fowler’s Homeroom for being the Winning Wednesday of the week this week! They showed citizenship by returning a lost lunch badge and giving another student a ride home from school!
Yearbooks are now on sale in the Lefler office. You may reserve your yearbook by bringing $20 cash or check to the school office or you may pay by credit card when you order through ParentVue. Yearbooks will be available in May.
This week is Teacher Appreciation Week! During the week, Student Council has surprises planned for the teachers and staff. Today, teachers had thank you banners created and hung throughout the school to let them know just how awesome they are! Throughout the week, all students can also stop by the Media Center to pick up a “Thank You Teacher” note card. You can write a card and turn it in to the main office to be put on the Thank You Teacher wall, or you can give it to your teacher yourself. Don’t forget to thank your teachers this week and let them know what a difference they make!
