- Today is an X day and a PLC day. School will dismiss at 1:40. Please plan accordingly!
- Last year Lefler was ranked third in our division for Nebraska Middle Schools in the Vocabulary Bowl. This year let’s make Lefler the number one school in Nebraska! On your Chromebook, sign in to Vocabulary.com through the LPS portal. Sign in using your LPS credentials and answer questions. Lefler will earn one point for every word you master! This year’s Vocabulary Bowl begins Thursday and with your help Lefler will win a banner or trophy! The word for today is “uncanny.” It comes from the novel The Rock and the River means something that is not natural or weird.
- The Lion’s Den will be open today. You can redeem your PAWSitive tickets in the media center during lunch.
- Congratulations to the 2020-2021 Student Council members! The first Student Council meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 6 at 7:15 a.m. Please see Miss Pauley in Room 227 if you have questions or need the jump code to the Student Council Google Classroom.
- There will be a planning meeting for the All School Musical on Thursday, October 1 right after school in Mrs. Oltman’s room. Any 8th grade student that was involved in the all school play last year is invited to attend. See Mrs. Oltman at recess during your lunch with any questions.
