STUDENT NEWS:     

  • Attention 7th Graders:  Your registration sheets for 8th grade electives were due last Friday.  Several students still haven’t turned those in, so please get them signed by your parents and return them to Ms. Sturek in the Counseling Center if you haven’t already.   If you lost your sheet you may get a new one from Ms. Sturek.
  • Congratulations Lefler 8th Grade Students of the Week:  Maritza Orozco-Lopez and Mia Brandle!
  • Congratulations also to this week’s Fine Diners:  6th grade, Luis Castro and Lilith  Wilson and 7th grade, Linnea Welsh and Jacob Alles! Please stop by the front office and see Ms. Candace today during your lunch!
  • Lunch in the Library is this Thursday in the Media Center. We will be having fun with Origami. Get your ticket from either Mr. Purtzer or Mrs. Howell in the Media Center. Tickets are going fast!
  • This week’s target behavior for pawsitive tickets: being Respectful-teachers are on the special lookout for students that are being respectful in the hallways by staying tight to the right, keeping hands to themselves and using quiet and respectful language. Let’s keep our hallways calm.    
  • There will be a MANDATORY parent/cheerleader meeting for all students who may be interested in Lincoln East cheerleading on Monday, March 2nd at 7:15 pm in the East High Black Box classroom which is right by the auditorium. If you are at all interested in trying out for cheerleading you must attend this meeting. You in no way are committing yourself to trying out by attending this meeting.
