STUDENT NEWS:
- A friendly reminder that an informational meeting for Student Council will be held tomorrow after school in Room 227. Meeting will begin at 3:10 and is open to students in all three grades. Please see Miss Pauley if you have questions or are unable to attend the meeting.
- Lefler Singers will begin rehearsing on Monday next week. Any student is welcome to join us singing a collection of songs from the Muppet Movie. Permission forms to join the choir are available from Mrs. Oltman or in the main office.
- Lefler Select Choir is open to 7th and 8th grade students. Auditions will be held on Wednesday and Thursday of this week before and after school. Sign up for your audition time on the appropriate day near Mrs. Oltman’s room and get your permission to audition form. You MUST have parent permission to audition! Rehearsals will begin next week on August 28 at 7:15 AM.
- Lefler has a student-led newspaper, and students of all grades are welcome to contribute or join the editorial staff. We meet on Mondays from 3 to 4 after school. Our first open meeting will be held TODAY in room 225.
- Cross Country practice will begin Wednesday, August 22nd at 3:15 to 4:30 outside on the basketball courts for all grades. Please come dressed to run and bring a water bottle. All students getting a ride home will need to be picked up on Valley Road. See Mr. Bergstrom or Mrs. Oliver with questions.
