STUDENT NEWS:       

  • Congratulations to this week’s Fine Dining winners: 6th grader, Amelia Brandle; 7th graders, Lexie Nicolarsen and Jatziri Mondolla Garcia; and 8th grade, Riley Kalnins and Ryan Noonan, please stop by the front office and see Ms. Candace today during your lunch.
  • LSE Step Chain tryouts begin next Monday, March 26th. They will be held at LSE from 6-8:30. You are encouraged to wear clothes you feel comfortable moving in (preferably athletic) and sneaker-type shoes. Sandals of any kind are discouraged. Hope you can make it!
  • Come one, come all to the Fuel Up to Play 60 meeting this Friday in the cafeteria.  We will have a dairy farmer for and guest speaker and will get to enjoy some healthy yogurt parfaits. Don’t forget, it is this Friday after school!
  • Track practice will be cancelled today. Please inform your parent/guardians about this change. Also, please remember to bring warm clothes to practice.
  • Track practice will be cancelled Thursday due to setting up for Civil War night in both gyms, and the uncertainty of the ground drying out to practice outside. Coaches will also communicate this at practice Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • Please join us for Roads, Rails, and Racecars every Monday after school, from 3:00-4:00 in room 129.
  • Ask your ELA/English teacher for a Golden Ticket, if you would like to have lunch in the Library today. Hope to see you there!
  • 7th Soc. Studies Fowler and Lemke’s class. Please come and take your castles home from the Library by this Friday or they will be thrown away.
  • If you are interested in taking a Bright Lights class this summer, there is scholarship information available in the Counseling Center.  You can start applying on-line for scholarships starting this Saturday, March 24th until April 15th.  If you have questions about this, see Ms. Sturek in the Counseling Center.
