- Again, no winners from yesterday’s trivia question. The answer: The Chicago Tribune had the inaccurate headline. Lefler trivia will continue after the holiday.
- Looks like the class of 2018 is on track to win the lunch party! Who can derail them? Will it be the class of 2017 or 2019? Take home those bookmarks and record all of the minutes you read over the long weekend. You can log your minutes from home this weekend or log them at school on Monday. We will run the final tally at the end of the day on Monday. Will we meet our 100,000 minutes?
Reminder: Family Night is next Tuesday and we must have a count for dinner. Have your parents call or email if your family will be coming, before we sell out.
- Musical cast: Rehearsal today will end at 4:00. Please make your earlier ride arrangements.
- There will be 8th grade girls’ basketball practice today after school.
- Hey all you artists out there! Design the logo to be used for the 2013 Lincoln Public Schools/Food Bank BackPack Walk T-shirts. The artwork submitted must be original and should encourage the fight against hunger. The student with the winning entry will receive a prize. Entry forms are available in the front office.
