Saturday marks the 20th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack on the Twin Towers in New York City, the Pentagon in Washington DC and the downing of the plane in Pennsylvania. The attacks killed 2,996 people and injured over 6,000 more. Saturday is an opportunity to honor the memory of the people killed in the attacks and the first responders who died trying to help others.
