• The vocabulary word of the day is “honorarium.” If you work for someone and ask for no payment – – you do the work without charging a fee – – the person may give you money anyway. Money given for work that does not require payment is an “honorarium. The money is given to honor the work that was done as a kind of “thank-you.”
• “The Lincoln High Pomalinks Dance Team will be holding tryouts March 15th-March 19th. Get involved with your high school, before you even start by joining this group. Pick up a packet from the office with information about the team, tryouts, and important dates! Go LINKS!
• There will be no Media passes today over lunch.
• Hat and Slipper day for all students who met the following criteria from 2/8 – 3/5.
