STUDENT NEWS:
• Today is a Y day!
• The vocabulary word for the day is “brilliant.” Why be mediocre when you can be brilliant? Play vocabulary.com and achieve brilliance! Friday will be the half-way point for the Vocabulary Bowl. Words you master on Friday can earn a special award.
• Reminder: today is an early dismissal day. If you have a ride, please notify them of the 1:40 dismissal.
• 7th grade boys: We still have spots open for basketball. Please make it to practice from 3-4:30 this week. There will be no basketball practice today due to a PLC day.
• Any student interested in participating in the all school musical must have a parent sign the Middle School Activity Consent form located under Lefler Athletic Program on the Lefler website. On Tuesday of next week, we will be looking at the script and some of the songs for anyone interested in seeing what the musical is about. Auditions will be on Wednesday and Thursday of NEXT week with rehearsals beginning on Monday, January 25. See Mrs. Oltman with any questions.

• Students!! We have awesome 3rd quarter clubs starting next week! All students are welcome to participate, we just need a parent to sign you up. See Emmary in media center after school if you have questions. What are some of the awesome clubs that will be starting next week? We’ve got Mrs. York will be rocking the robotics, The Bay will be joining us to run a photography and digital music club, we’ll have ping pong, and also crochet and anime club! There are many more clubs that we didn’t mention. To look at the entire list and schedule, check out the CLC tab on the Lefler website or see Emmary after school. Don’t forget, clubs start next week, so get signed up!!!
