- Last year Lefler was ranked third in our division for Nebraska Middle Schools in the Vocabulary Bowl. This year let’s make Lefler the number one school in Nebraska! On your Chromebook, sign in to Vocabulary.com through the LPS portal. Sign in using your LPS credentials and answer questions. Lefler will earn one point for every word you master! This year’s Vocabulary Bowl begins Thursday and with your help Lefler will win a banner or trophy! The word for today is “talisman.” It comes from the novel Chinese Cinderella and means a charm or good luck piece.
- There will be a planning meeting for the All School Musical on Thursday, October 1 right after school in Mrs. Oltman’s room. Any 8th grade student that was involved in the all school play last year is invited to attend. See Mrs. Oltman at recess during your lunch with any questions.
