STUDENT NEWS:
- The All School Play “Walking Dwarves” will be presented on Monday evening at 6:30. Students are welcome to attend with a parent or guardian.
- The Lefler Select Choir is now auditioning choir members for next semester. Any student in 6th, 7th or 8th grade is welcome to audition. The choir rehearses on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 7:15. Audition forms are available from Mrs. Oltman.
- 7th & 8th grade boys’ basketball will practice today after school, from 3:00- 4:30.
- Get your team together for the Winter Break All School Volleyball Tournament January 2nd, 3rd and 4th. This will be a 6 on 6 volleyball tournament open to all Lefler students. Teams can be all boys, all girls, or co-ed. This tournament is for all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students at Lefler. See your PE teacher for more information.
- Today is the last day to purchase your Candy Cane Grams at lunch to send to a Lefler friend, teacher, or staff member. Each Candy Cane gram is 25 cents each or four for $1.00. Also, if you have any Candy Cane Gram notes that have not been returned yet, please turn them into the Candy Cane Gram table at lunch by Friday. Late notes will not be delivered.
- Hangout criteria for the rest of the quarter: Hang-out will be January 17th. No F’s, No OSS/ISS, No Re Focus, No more than 1 out of class movement, No more than 2 tardies (not counting 1st period).
