- Congratulations to this week’s PAWSitive ticket winners: 6th grade, Fidaa Safaa; 7th grade, Ayanna Harris; and 8th grade, Anthony Crisp!
- Nutrition Services Announcement: As our new computer system gets underway, we ask for your patience and cooperation through the breakfast and lunch lines.
- Attention basketball players! Lefler basketball t-shirt’s are available for $11. See Mr. Pappas for an order form. Order forms are due Nov. 16.
- Only a few more days to contribute to your grade’s team in the Penny Wars! Student Council will be collecting money this week to help purchase Thanksgiving meals for families in the Lincoln community. To win, put pennies or paper bills such as $1, $5, or $10 in your grade team’s jar to earn positive points. Place nickels, dimes, and quarters in your opponent’s jar to make them earn negative points. Winners will be announced next Monday. The winning teams for each grade will receive a Hat and Slipper Day on Tuesday, November 27, and the one team that brings in the most money overall will earn a sweet treat provided by Student Council. This competition will go through this Friday, so be sure to gather up all of that loose change and bring it in to help your team win the Penny Wars!
- There is one week left to order your Lefler clothing items from the online store. All orders must be placed by next Monday, November 19 before midnight. Please pick up an informational flyer in the main office or see Miss Pauley in Room 227 if you have any questions about ordering or need a paper order form.
- Attention 8th graders! Bring your baby photo to room 208 (Ms. Vandarwarka). Photos should be of you when you were 4 or younger, with your first and last name clearly written on the back or with a sticky note. You will be able to pick your photo up by the next day! These will be used for a special 8th grade page in the yearbook!
- Orders for the Lefler Clothing items can still be placed online between now and Monday, November 19 at midnight. If you are interested in ordering, please stop by the main office and pick up an informational flier with directions for ordering. Clothing items should be delivered during the first week in December. This will be the final time Lefler clothing is available to order, so be sure you place your order by November 19. Please see Miss Pauley in Room 227 if you have any questions.
