STUDENT NEWS:

  • Are you interested in local news?  Lefler’s student run newspaper is looking for reporters, columnists, and feature writers to expand our staff.  The staff meets every Monday from 3 – 4 in room 225.
  • Raise your hand if you like chocolate cake. I wonder which galloping gourmet will tempt our taste buds with that delectable delight at Lefler Eats on Tuesday, October 9.
  • Joven Noble will meet today during 3rd period in Room 209.  Please return registration packets to the counseling center if you haven’t turned them in. 7th grade Latina Leaders will meet in room 221 today during 1st
  • Help the Fuel Up to Play 60 group kick off the new school year by voting for the administrator and student from your grade for the best milk mustache.  Pictures of administrators and students from each grade will be near the entrance of the cafeteria.  Choose the administrator and student with the best mustache and put a ticket into their cup.  The student from each grade and administrator with the most tickets on Thursday after lunch will be the winner and get to choose an item from the Fuel Up basket in the office.
  • Congratulations to this week’s Fine Dining winners: 6th grade, Linnea Welsh and Kenzie Gilbert; 7th grade, Lena Mbajk and Mia Brandle; and 8th grade, Ethan Kaiser and Karsyn Dice!  Please stop by the front office today during your lunch and see Ms. Candace.
  • Lunch in the Library Thursday!   Ask your English or Language Arts teacher for a Golden Ticket. Ms. Vanek from the Gere public library will be stopping by with a fun activity, and some books from the public library. Come join the Fun!
  • Manga Club will be meeting after school on Thursday from 3:10-4:00pm. Bring a book that you’d like to share. Arrange a ride for later if you’d like to attend.
  • Don’t forget, Craft Club meets tomorrow at 3:05 in Mrs. Flamme’s room.
