STUDENT NEWS:
- Are you interested in being involved at Lefler? Do you feel you have strong leadership skills and can be a role model to others? If so, Student Council wants you to join! An informational meeting will be held after school on Tuesday, August 21 in Room 227 for all grades. Meeting will begin at 3:10. Please see Miss Pauley if you have questions or are unable to attend the meeting.
- Lefler has a student-led newspaper, and students of all grades are welcome to contribute or join the editorial staff. We meet on Mondays from 3 to 4 after school. Our first open meeting will be held in room 225, Monday, August 20.
- Cross Country practice will begin Wednesday, August 22nd at 3:15 to 4:30 outside on the basketball courts for all grades. Please come dressed to run and bring a water bottle. All students getting a ride home will need to be picked up on Valley Road. See Mr. Bergstrom or Mrs. Oliver with questions.
