I was born in mexico. my birthrate is March of the year 1991. I lived in my country for 10 years before coming here. I live with my parents, my brother, and my sister. Icame to the USA when I was 10 years old in august 16, 2001.
my family and I had to take two planes. the first plane landed in Dallas, Texas. we had to take the other plane like 2 hours after we landed. from then on we have lived in Lincoln, NE. I still have family back in my country, my parents, my siblings, and i are the only ones in my whole family who live here. I haven’t gone back to my country since i got here, but I’m planning on going there next summer. I like it here because school is easier, but I also miss my country because I left part of my family and my friends back there.

The country my family and I are from is Mexico. The complete name of my country is United Mexican States. The population is about 105 million people who are lead by Vicente Fox, our current president. Most people there are Roman Catholics, but there are many other religions like Christianity. My country is about 193 years old. The climate in Mexico varies from tropical to deserts. The major physical features there are Pico the Orizaba, and Laguna Salada.
The common jobs there are agriculture, Industry, and services. The most popular foods there are enchiladas, tamales, and tortillas. The education there is very good. You can learn way more than in the USA and Canada. Many people might ask “What do you use to do back in Mexico?’’, and I would answer “The same thing I do here.’’ In Mexico teenagers play video games, they play sports and they like hanging out with friends. This is what my country is like.
